Currently the associate producer and social media manager for an online news organization, CBT News. A graduate from UIC with a Bachelor in Business Marketing, I excel in booking interviews, creating schedules, keeping up with deadlines, and promoting a company through social media outlets. 

As the marketing and events intern my key responsibility was client management. Daily tasks included emailing clients and updating their timelines and documents, building and maintaining vendor relationships,  as well as developing new campaigns through e-marking tools. In addition, I actively participated in various marketing events for the company including the Chicago Flower and Garden show.

Education

As an account executive I worked with multiple clients at a time to ensure their monthly advertising needs were met.  I worked with traditional media which included, but not limited to, TV, radio, print, web banners.  Each month I created a different campaign for each client and was responsible for sending out job orders to each department.  

​As the social media manager I managed all of the social aspect for Fitzpatrick advertising.  While doing so I was able to received "retweets" and was "tweeted back" by major automotive companies like Subaru, Nissan, Toyota.  For Facebook I constantly updated the profile picture to represent each month and events within the company to promote via social media.

I am currently the associate producer and social media director for CBT News. CBT News is an online news source for the retail automotive industry. We provide a daily newscast for retail automotive industry and also produce a monthly publication, Car Biz Today Magazine.

 

At CBT News I have been able to build on a variety of skills which include tasks such as creating a daily Newsletter that’s sent out to our subscribers, update content to the website daily, create content for the newscast and organize bi-monthly team building events.

 

I was promoted to associate producer after a short time of being with CBT News and since then I have worked on booking interviews in our studios as well as scheduling all interviews for when we traveled to cover automotive events. With the interviews I was able to book for CBT News we increased our viewership by 70%.

 

As social media director I am responsible for all social media outlets for CBT News which include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google +, and Instagram. Through the multiple social media outlets I update our followers on what is going on with CBT News on the show and behind the scenes.
